Beginning when I was six my father and I would go to the Gila wilderness in New Mexico,specifically to Beaverhead ranch. It was my favorite place on earth horses for transportation, wood cook stoves, trout fishing, stories by the fire. My happy place. T

BEAVERHEAD RANCH...THE CANYON
This is the treacherous drive that took us into the ranch. On the opposing cliff walls were caves. The Indians would drop down on ropes to enter their dwellings. 16x 20 155.framed
